Selecting a piece of stone to use for your home can be a daunting task. It’s often hard to imagine what a slab of rock in a yard will look like as a countertop in your kitchen, or whether it will be perfect for your custom shower. Picking the wrong slab can be a costly mistake, but we’re here to make the process easy! Our expert showroom staff are trained to listen to your needs and lend their years of expertise to your selection, but they can help you better if you come prepared. Picking the right stone for your project is like picking a good tie. Ideally, the pattern and colors of the stone should complement and bring together the colors of the room.
To that end, bring samples or pictures of your planned paint color, cabinetry finish, flooring, and any other materials present in the room you are going to renovate. Also, consider the lighting you will be seeing the stone under, if your room has a lot of natural light then what you see is what you get in the slab yard, but if it doesn’t then you need to consider that different stone can look different when viewed under artificial light. Ask our sales team about the difference! Finally, make sure you pick out the actual slab that will be used in your project.
Our SlabSmith technology allows us to overlay the templates of your project on the slabs you select so that you can see exactly how your project pieces will look before they are cut to make sure you get the exact flow, colors, etc. in the areas that you want them.

Mike came out to do the template, and I was impressed with the laser system he used to take the measurements. I had not seen that before. He did a great job because when the installers came out everything fit perfectly. Our install crew were very good – very professional and obviously took pride in their work. We had countertops as well as a fireplace surround and hearth done, and I know we will enjoy all for a long time. I could not recommend Delta Granite enough.
I recently replaced the pedestal sink in my son’s bathroom with a custom made vanity. It was a difficult fit due to the size of the bathroom. Delta Granite provided superior costumer service from start to finish. My salesperson pointed out that the cabinet company’s measurements were flawed and would not allow for a sink. They provided valuable knowledge and insight, correcting what could have been a costly mistake. I picked out my granite and in a timely and professional manner I had my top and backsplash installed. I can not say enough about the customer service I was given. It was a small project but treated like those of much larger projects.
