For this kitchen we selected a deep ebony colored granite with fascinating swirls of cream for the island and back wall treatments, then contrasted that with a cream colored granite countertop for the rest of the surfaces that matched the cream of the swirls in the darker granite. When combined with the dark wood cabinets and creamy wood floors, the result is a very rich and warm kitchen that proves you can create a modern look without resorting to white!
